Happy Birthday Al

Happy Birthday to my brother, Al. As you can see he turned 36. I made this for him. These are chocolate hazelnut cake and also german chocolate cake truffles.

So moist & yummy

This is what the chocolate hazelnut cake truffle looks like underneath the chocolate coating. Doesn't it look yummy? It was just right, super moist. The secret is knowing how much frosting to mix in with the cake. You don't want to put too much because then it will get too soft and mushy (spelling?) and will not taste good. I made 2 dozen of theses for my potluck at work and they were a hit. People couldn't get enough of them I was getting emails and people stopping by my office to tell me how good they were. That was an awesome feeling :-)
