San Francisco Giants Cake Pops

An old high school friend placed an order for some cake pops for her son's 15th birthday. Their family is a HUGE San Francisco Giants fans so she asked me if I can use that as the theme for the cake pops. Sure, I said, I will give it a try, I've never made anything "Giants themed" before.

Now my penmanship is not exactly the neatest so getting the logo to look just right took some practice. (Hopefully I don't get in trouble for trying to copy their logo. LOL! ) I admit, it's not 100% but I was happy with the outcome.

The next time I'm asked to make this again I know it will look better, because practice makes perfect!

The Red Velvet Cake Truffles below were for another customer who ordered it for her good friend's birthday party as a surprise. She had me deliver it to the party. We received great feedback from the customer. She said she and her friends loved it.  Now that's what we like to hear!  Thank you!!!!

A Great Bake Sale!

Last Saturday (5/14/11) was the 2nd Annual National Food Bloggers Bake Sale to benefit Share Our Strength's efforts to end childhood hunger in America. We were proud to have been a part of the event this year in San Francisco. Sweet Madi donated an assortment of Cake Truffles and Banana Bread.

There were over 40 Bay Area food bloggers that participated. There was so many delicious treats to choose from. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the cause. We were able to raise over $2400.00, that's terrific!  We can't wait until next year!

Masquerade Party

Here are pictures of the cake pop favors we did for a masquerade themed 18th birthday party. This was a about 170 pieces. All the masks were made of chocolate that I handmade myself. A little time consuming, yes, but it was all worth it. I was happy with the outcome and so was our customer.

Keeping busy!

We are no longer taking anymore orders for Easter, we are booked. Thanks to everyone who placed their orders early...  Along with all the Easter orders and upcoming birthday parties Sweet Madi and Bake with Mars are also preparing for the upcoming San Francisco Food Bloggers Bake Sale coming up on May 14th. It's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to meet up with other baking/food bloggers and raise a lot of money for the Share Our Strength Foundation.  Hope you can all make it!

We are working on a Pokemon themed birthday party this week and also a Masquerade themed 18th birthday bash. So stay tuned for those pictures. In the meantime here are some recent photos.
