San Francisco Giants Cake Pops

An old high school friend placed an order for some cake pops for her son's 15th birthday. Their family is a HUGE San Francisco Giants fans so she asked me if I can use that as the theme for the cake pops. Sure, I said, I will give it a try, I've never made anything "Giants themed" before.

Now my penmanship is not exactly the neatest so getting the logo to look just right took some practice. (Hopefully I don't get in trouble for trying to copy their logo. LOL! ) I admit, it's not 100% but I was happy with the outcome.

The next time I'm asked to make this again I know it will look better, because practice makes perfect!

The Red Velvet Cake Truffles below were for another customer who ordered it for her good friend's birthday party as a surprise. She had me deliver it to the party. We received great feedback from the customer. She said she and her friends loved it.  Now that's what we like to hear!  Thank you!!!!

Baby Shower Favors

This past weekend we made centerpieces filled with cake pops for a baby shower. Yes, the couple is having a boy, can you tell?  We made three different cake flavors for this event. Red Velvet, Yellow, and Chocolate.  I also happened to be a guest at this party so it was really exciting to see everyone enjoying one, or two, or three, etc... Heck, I even saw some people eating them before the actual food was served. I guess they couldn't wait for dessert!

1st Birthday Party

This weekend I was asked to make some treats for a little girl named Riley's 1st birthday party. The theme of her party was cupcakes and the colors were pink and green. So I made some cake pops shaped like cupcakes by using a flower cookie cutter, then we also made some cookie favors and a tray of our famous chocolate chip cookies. We get a lot of request for our cookies, hmm must be good!

Baby Shower

Last weekend I made basket full of red velvet & chocolate cake pop favors for a Baby Shower. The hostess of the party used it as the center piece for her table. I was told they went pretty quickly and everyone loved them. I'm glad.

Birthday Cake Pops

This weekend I was invited to a co-workers house to celebrate her daughter's 13th birthday. I decided to bring some cake pops . I made two different kinds of flavored cake, chocolate and a white cake, then I used home made cream cheese frosting for both. Since this was a teenage party I wanted to make it fun so I chose a few different candy coating colors. I used dark cocoa, pink, white, chocolate, and purple. I added rainbow colored jimmies or nonpareils.

I then wrapped them individually then placed them in a decorative birthday box I found at Michael's craft store the other day.

They were a hit at the party. I'm glad they enjoyed it.

Just because....

These are cake truffles and cake pops made of yellow cake and vanilla frosting (all from scratch) coated with either a dark cocoa or white chocolate candy coating. I topped some of them off with shredded coconut or sprinkles. Looks good huh?
